Thanks Richard saved by RAS and you.

We have rain again today at Narromine keep the farmers happy.

I was so busy doing all the IT geek stuff here I forgot to sort the PDA out
and both batteries went flat so I lost the install.

The Aero PDA's have a save/restore function that writes the PDA image
to the CF Card. I always try to have a current backup of all files on
CF card when I go to a contest. I imagine most PDA support a similar
feature.

When I am not flying I just pull the main and backup batteries and let
the PDA lie dormant. When its time to fly just put the batteries back
in and do a full restore from CF and everything works again. (for CF
substitute SD or your media of choice).
