Great reports, amazing! Thanks Frank and Conrad. As to the Junior effort,
thanks to the USA World Class guys who have always been World Class in
supporting young pilots, and thanks to sponsor Mountain High who donated two
sets of Oxygen equipment that helped termendously in rasing funds.

Speaking of funds, there are still many bills to pay. To help, I welcome
your purchase of a Junior Team T-shirt which you can still mail order from
me (see image and order address at www.ssa.org/UsTeam/ust_news.htm , scroll
to "4/10/03"). The design is by Joe Walter, who flew a "Y1" just like
Garret in the 1997 and '99 JGCs. I have grey and tan and a few white
long-sleeve for hot climates, all sizes 2XL to S, even some child sizes.

.... in related (Junior and World Class) news, Peter Masak just reported to
me from the scene of the 15m Nationals at Hobbs, NM: "The US Junior pilots
are doing great here...".

Indeed. With one day left, Liz Schwenkler just scored a daily win and is in
the top 10, as is Chris Saunders. Mike Westbrook is doing well in his 2nd
Nationals (after World Class last year), and Kathy Fosha is at the Nationals
just weeks after her first Regionals. SSA Kolstad Scholarship winners all
(note young Silver badge pilots under 21: applications are due to SSA
October 1).
