Default Introduction:

Hi Guys,

My name is Don and I'm an alco... whoops. I mean to say
that I like to fly helicopters.

After flying fixed wing since 1973, I made the mistake of
taking a helicopter "discovery" flight last year, and now
I'm hooked on landing in inaccessible places and taxiing
in the air. Help me please!! My log book now is sprouting
entries in the "other" category, and my finances are draining
at an amazing rate.

Since I'm too old to be thinking of a second career as a
helicopter pilot, I can't for the life of me figure out
why I keep paying $250/hr to go fly a device that can
only carry my instructor and me + 2 hours of fuel.

How do the rest of you control yourselves?

Don W. --new to the group, but ready to chat about
rotorcraft, flying, etc.
