A/C rentals in OKC area?
Hi all,
I will be in the Oklahoma City/Moore area for three weeks in Oct. and would like to do some flyin'. Any suggestions on where to rent (or not to)? Most convenient would probably be OUN Norman Westheimer, followed by Wiley Post, or Perry in Noble. Or does anyone want a flyin buddy ? Most convenient would probably be OUN Norman Westheimer, followed by Wiley Post, or Perry in Noble. I did my primary training out of Wiley Post back in 98. I rented various aircraft there from a CFI that had 3-150's, 2 Warriors and 2-172's but I think he no longer has those available. :-( MillionAir use to be at Wiley Post but their website doesn't list it. It might be Oklahoma Aviation and Cessna Pilot Center (405-78-PILOT) now? http://www.wileypostairport.com/ Also try OKC. I'm not sure what they have anymore either but a lot of people don't think about renting from there and go to the other airports that you list. -Greg B. |

The FBO on OUN is Cruise Aviation 405-360-3900
http://www.controller.com/dealers/de...42182&mode=fbo They have Cessna 172's and Archer's for around $100 wet. They require a one hour check ride. I don't know if they have any thing biger. the C172 and Archer are as big as I need George On Tue, 23 Aug 2005 01:00:03 -0400, wrote: Hi all, I will be in the Oklahoma City/Moore area for three weeks in Oct. and would like to do some flyin'. Cruise Aviation at OUN had some Archers, I believe. I dont think there
are any rentals(FBO based anyhow) at DJ Perry. Wiley Post is in the NW side of the city. Not sure if youre going to be near there, but it might not be worth the drive. (As opposed to OUN). OUN does have a LOT of student ops. Cruise Aviation 405-360-3900. Jesse M PP-ASEL, A&P |
