Latency
Has anyone else noticed that it takes several days for posts to show
up in the group? As I write this on 5 August, the latest posts are dated 1 August. This is a relatively new phenomenon as previously posts were showing up very soon after being written.

Looks like we are facing an eternal August of this stuff thanks to naive users and what I expect is a combination of Google's incompetence and just not caring about USENET with Google Groups.
