Default It runs!

I started the engine in my RV-4 for the first
time this afternoon. Everything went according
to plan except for a few instrumentation glitches.
It's a pretty awesome feeling to fuel it and see
no leaks, to crank it and see it start, and to
see (almost) everything work.

Time to schedule an inspection and finish
transition training.

An exchange with the line guy, who stood ready with
a fire bottle:

Me: If you see me running, you run too.
Him: If you're running I'm going to be ahead of you.

Dave 'I think I can I think I can' Hyde

Congrats! That is good news.

Congratulations. Been a long time coming.

I saw a guy wearing a T-shirt today that said:

I hope he didn't meet anyone too agreeable

Thanks...those are the *real* milestones. This was just
a step.

Now, anyone got a Grand Rapids engine monitor
with a fuel pressure tap? I've worked my way
through their troubleshooting steps with limited
success and would like to get some advice this
weekend.
