Default Outlandings Austria, Inn valley

Hello
Preparing a camp in Samedan - Looking at the excellent
http://www.aussenlandefelder.org/ I was surprised to find nothing in the
Inn valley east of Imst and Innsbruck area. It is unlandable - or so easy
that there is no need to reference anything ?
Thanks for advice
Jean

IIRC, threre are definitly a number of landable fields east of
Innsbruck, the valley broadens noticeably. Then, you have Kufstein
about 40km to the east. I, for my part, once landed out in the
Zillertal a few years ago. Had to watch out for power lines.

Have a nice camp!

For planning fligths in the Swiss Alps you should consider to buy the Booklet
"Aussenlandefelder" (SFr 45.-) from Schäniss Soaring.

The Inn valley to the east of Insbruck is landable
with plenty of fields, provided you take care, many
apparent large fields are subdivided into smaller fields
with a variety of crops and cattle. The boundaries
have single wire fences.

There is a very friendly gliding club at Kusfstein,
east of Innsbruck for details see

http://www.aviator.at/airport/1loik.htm

As you leave the Inn Valley to the east of Kufstein
there are many fields.

A lot of fields in the eastern Alps are documented at
www.streckenflug.at . Go to the SIP (Soaring Information Publication)
section.

Landed east of Innsbruck about a month ago on an UL field.
