Default Liberty Girl in Taipei

Maurice Kirk flew his L-4 Piper Cub up to Taipei yesterday, May 15,
and may make an attempt to reach Koreak today. See the photo at
http://p196.ezboard.com/fwarbirdsfor...icID=106.topic

In April 2001, Maurice was a camp-follower in the London-Sydney Air
Race, keeping up with the official contestants (he was disqualified on
the first day for making an unauthorized landing in a farmer's field)
by dint of flying seven days a week instead of the six-day routine
followed by the others.

Now he's attempting to fly the Cub home by way of the United States.
This is quite insane, of course, but how do you argue with a guy who
has already covered 16,000 nautical miles in a 1943 airplane that came
out of the Piper factory with a 65 hp engine and a 12-gallon gas tank?
He has already made an ocean crossing of 788 NM in 11.5 hours.

Java is not Javascript. They're not even much related, other than
somewhat similar names.

You aren't missing anything essential, on my site anyhow. I use it to
rotate ads.

Are you using IE? Ditch it for Firefox, and enable the Java
