DT Hotel wireless Internet speeds have been frustrating with erratic
connections. Have some winch images, but will put them on WD later.

Hi. I went - my first SSA convention. I could only attend late
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning. I attended the aerobatic
glider pilots breakfast and Jason Stephens' talk on the US Team's
attendance at the WGAC2007 in Niederoblarn, Austria. He did a good
job (I know because I competed in that contest myself). Also attended
talks on the ADS-B system, the Duckhawk, progress with jet powered
gliders, dealing with a ramp inspection, and a couple others. On the
floor, I was particularly entranced by the Sparrowhawk, a couple of
amazing winches, the SPoT Satellite Personal Locator device (bought
one),

I think I could sell my Stemme S10VT and use the proceeds to buy a
Sparrowhawk and a winch and have money left over. Hmmmm.....
(category of things that make you go hmmmm ) If I invested the
leftover funds, they'd probably grow enough to allow me to trade up
for a Duckhawk when it becomes available.

I liked that venue and hotel. Made my hotel reservation the Wednesday
morning. Somehow, they scrounged up a room at the SSA rate for
me. ;-)
