I've been flying R/C Sailplanes for 30+ tears. So... what's the big
deal?

It's not just combat drones or R/C sailplanes.

I think the article indicates the possible commercial use
of these aircraft in general aviation airspace.

Might get your attention when one with no eyeballs aboard
flies through your thermal at 250kts.
