Default SCSA MARCH BASH

The first occasional March Bash hosted by the Southern California
Soaring Academy was great fun and a great success, with 125+ guests
attending and enjoying BBQ ribs & chicken, cold cuts, hamburgers, all
the trimmings, salads galore, and " Line Boss " Candace's three
birthday cakes. Even the weather cooperated with mild temperatures
and working thermals. Michael M. and I managed to stay up 1 1/2
hours, reaching 5,500 ft AGL. The only complaint which I might have
is that the hosts of the Bash could have arranged for stronger and
higher thermals. Perhaps next time. And in case anyone is wondering, I
have no financial interest in SCSA except for the payment of tie down
and tow fees.

Cheers
