Default Marvel carb on C-75--data needed

I would like to replace my Stromberg with a Marvel carb on my C-75 so I
can have a mixture control that actually works and can maybe get away
from a needle valve that has an unstopable leak.

Have called Precision and Continental and neither can give me a
reference showing where this carb is approved for the C-75-8, even
though Precision shows a carb number for it.

Does anyone out there have a Marvel on a C-75-8? Do you have the 337
paperwork approving it? Can you give me a copy?

Lastly, would such a change be aircraft type specific, requiring me to
find someone with the same carb on my type of aircraft (Interstate
Cadet) or is it just an engine mod?

Thanks

The TCDS shows the Marvel part numbers that can be used on the C-75-8 so you
are good to go IF you can find the particular Marvel part listed in the
TCDS. Not all Marvel MA3-SPAs are the same. The TCDS is available on the
FAA web site. It would be a good idea to check the TCDS for the Cadet also.

find.

On the copy I'm looking at E-213 Rev. 9, it sure looks like either
carb is approved.

He said it was a C75-8 not an A75-8. Need to look at E-233.
