A friend sent me this very poor image - any help in ID'ing the a/c would be appreciated. The photo was taken at Corfe Castle, Dorset, UK in the summer of 1966. My first thought was they were Blackburn Beverleys, but they had twin tail fins which these fuzzy blobs appear not to have. Current thought here is they *might* have been Meteors. TIA ~ Dingo |

TIA I could be persuaded they might even be Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneers. But Meteors would fit better with the tight formation. Bob ^,,^ |

TIA ~ Dingo I'd say Twin Pioneers. A bit too "square cut" for Meteors Pat Macguire |
