Default Oudie question

I attempted to update my Oudie 2 to v8.03 yesterday and it seems to have broken it.

It now starts with an error window:

Application error

Not found Applitaion!
Please install it from SD/MMC.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried reinstalling the update and even copying back old backups of ResidentFlash and SDMMC.

There is a hard reset button on the back of the Oudie - try pressing that with a paper clip.

Send a note off to Naviter via https://www.naviter.com/contact-us/. They are pretty responsive.

Does it eventually boot and run SeeYou? If so, check to make sure you have your current registration key entered into the Oudie.

Thanks. The Oudie needed a reload of the OS apparently.

Jost from Naviter was very helpful.

Yep, they are good people at Naviter.

How did you reload the OS (as different than reloading SeeYou Mobile)? Hard reset?

Thanks.

Default Oudie question

Hi John,

It's a process. It is very rare that it is necessary - usually when a customer accidentally deletes files in the Oudie memory. I've helped few customers through it. It is not difficult, but requires PC file management skills.

Best Regards,

Paul Remde

Yes.

They send the files to reinstall the system and step-by-step instructions. It is all quite simple really.

I don't know what went wrong. It might have been something to do with power as it then wouldn't charge and kept restarting, but that is just guessing. It might need a new battery, but haven't used it since.

Thanks to Paul Remde for pointing me in the right direction.

Good morning or good evening depending upon your location. I want to ask you the most important question of your life. Your joy or sorrow for all eternity depends upon your answer. The question is: Are you saved? It is not a question of how good Excelsior Home Built 0 April 22nd 05 01:11 AM
