travel time to gliding site / club?

Four minutes max. I live two miles from the airport, and the Sierra Blanca Brewery is on the way back. It's only 1500 ft. from my driveway.

Around 40 minutes from Albuq to Moriarty

83 km as the crow flies, 110 km by road. An hour ten minutes at best each way, two hours if there is traffic (Ottawa, Canada rush hour). Cost of diesel is $CAD1.10 /l or $USD3.10/USGal. I have an old travel trailer and stay at the airport when I fly.

I fly out of the northern half of Utah and live in Salt Lake City area. There are currently 4 airports within a reasonable drive to fly gliders from. My primary airport is Nephi which takes about 50 minutes one way and secondary is Logan which takes about 1:45 one way. The other two airports are fun to fly at, but I don’t get up to them as much as I’d like.. They are each an hour drive each way.

I do about 35 miles each way when I go. Mostly backroads since major roads get clogged from NYC metro area are heading back on a Sunday afternoon (I can see backed up traffic from Wurtsboro, NY to near the NY/NJ border on nice days......).
Yes, I should fly more........sigh.......

Very good, Kirk. But Mark's way home via the brewery is hard to beat.
For me 9.5 miles / 15km / 15 minutes to the Segelflugplatz.
A brewery detour on the way back adds about 0.3 mi / 0.5km / an hour?
