Why do you need an AI? Are you expecting to get an annual out of the
prepurchase?

Where is the C172 based and who is maintaining it now?

Guys,

This is for a first-time owner, a friend.

The Skyhawk is out of annual, has bad logs.

I think he has found a good AI, someone who will give the plane a
fair and honest look.

One thing that amused me: everyone was on edge 'cause the tach time
jumped 800 hours in a year.

Without a change of ownership, 100 hr. inspections, new cylinders.

Hmm... sounds like the tach broke, and a second-hand one was
quietly installed, eh?

Andy
