Default Anyone know what this object is celebrating? Aerodrome Southend: G-ACTX: Flying Services Ltd

Hello,

I have come across a small wooden object with the following plaque:

G-ACTX
Aerodrome Southend
Flying Services Ltd

Would anyone know what this is commemorating?

I have tried Southend Airport, but no joy!

Thanks.
