The above is a link to a site that is very powerful, very moving. It
is a site that we all should visit to get that much needed dose of
reality. If you do go, be prepared and take a moment to think about
what you see and especially what you don't see.

I don't like crossposted posts at all, but I have to say that this is
worth a browse. Chernobyl (I hope I spelled it correctly) is brought
home in a new way. This gal has more "********" than I think I'd have...

BTW, it features a nice motorcycle, ridden by a nice looking Russian
woman... 8^)

Probably the most moving and important site I have ever seen on the
internet. Fabulous!

Wand some more chilling reading, take your time looking over this site. Not
an easy read and equally disturbing

actually the town beside the powerplant is called Pripyat. But that's not so
important. I read once that over the next ten years, over 1,000,000 people
died in the US from cancer, since the cloud swept around the globe. Even
today, here in Croatia and Poland and former Czechoslovakia and all
countries close to Ukraine you still have an above-average number of older
cancer patients dying.
