Cobra trailer fittings for different glider makes & models
In general, how different are the fittings in a Cobra trailer for
different makes and models of gliders, 15M and Standard class? For example, what changes would be required to put an ASW20 into an ASW28, or Discus, or Ventus rigged Cobra trailer? Thanks for any advice, John |

John,
I have done what your proposing a couple of times and for the most part, it is straight forward. All the fittings are adjustable and everything should work out fine. I would check the height of the wing dolly to see if it is correct for the new wing. All the stops are adjustable and so is the nose cone, both height and length. You may have to move the tail wheel (skid) bracket in the floor.Give me a shout, if you run into trouble. JJ Sinclair |

Also check the wing chords. Typically std. class gliders have a wider
chord than 15M ships. Guy Byars I thought standard class was 15m... |

Let's see, chord = span? I don't think so.

Earlier, "BTIZ" wrote:
