Default Lowrance AirMap 500 and ICG Files

Has anyone successfully saved and AirMap 500 track log file with altitude
information as an IGC file? Does anyone have any opinions how the AirMap
500 compares with the Garmin Map 76s?

I doubt it. When I looked into the Airmap 500/1000 a few months ago,
I determined from Lowrance that neither of these units record altitude
in their saved tracks. Silly but true. For that reason only, I
purchased a Garmin instead.
