Default Ever heard about Mr. James Files?

Whatever happened happened forty years ago. It's time to let the dead rest in
peace. Anyway, if I have a choice of believing the findings of a commission
headed by a Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court or the rantings of
a bunch of conspiracy loons, it's not much of a contest.

George Z.

PS - There's nothing in what you posted that indicates why it should be in
rec.aviation.military. Are we supposed to be some sort of conspiracy nuts
comparable to the rest of the NGs you cross-posted to? I don't think we are, so
please go away and peddle your theories in central Europe or whereever.

Russian state TV just showed a documentary "JFK murder, the 13-th
version" with interview of a man who said to shot president Kennedy
from front-right direction. His name is James Files. The interview was
recorded in 1994. At that time he was a prisoner of, as was said one
prison in Illinois where he was serving his life term.

His story in brief was the following: He said he was CIA agent. he had
the same CIA supervisor with Oswald. He received the order to deliver
rifles to Dallas from C. Nicoletti, right hand of mafia boss Sam
Giancana. Oswald was helping him to adjust rifles a few days before
murder, but Oswald knew nothing about murder planning, and did not ask
any questions. There were two mafia guys who were assign to shoot
president, Nicoletti and Rosselli who was messenger between CIA and
mafia bosses. However Files was offered to participate as well one day
before the killing. He agreed because he was hating JFK. He selected
Fireball rifle and the position behind the fence on the right side of
president cortege pathway. He did one shot only which he saw hit JFK
right temple almost simultaneously with the second shot from the back.
His position behind the fence was guarded by two secrete service
officers who let him go free. He bited the shell, as he always did and
left it on the fence.

Nicoletti, Rosselli and Giancana were killed in 1977 when Congress
started his second official investigation.

There were also interview with retired col. Daniel Marvan, a green
beret who was offered to kill lieutenant William Bruce Picer, who
officially filmed JFK autopsy in hospital in Bethesda and kept a copy
for himself. Marvan refused but Picer was anyway killed.

Some more details about this story and, of course, attempts to
question its credibility can be found at:

Mr. Files story.
