Default 15 Meter pre practice news for Mifflin for 5-13.

5 contestants flew today to practice for the upcoming 15 Meters in Mifflin, PA.
USA.. First launch was at 1 p.m. Light lift to 2500 agl was the norm until
alittle after 2 p.m. The lift rose to 6500 agl by 3:30 p.m with climbs of 4-5
kts on the averager. A AST of 177 miles with turn points at Orbisonia,
Miffintown, Three Barns, Penns Cave, SpruceCrkTnnl and finish for a 177 mile
race. The pack made it around in about 2 1/2 hrs. No water was carried by
anyone. Best speed 70.8 mph. # 711 reporting.
