Good Morning --

The Discus CS maintenance manual (page 29) uses a value of 135mm (5.3 inches) as the 'A' distance between the datum and the main wheel axle. For those who have actually measured this, do you get a range of values -- because of manufacturing differences - or because springs/shocks age over time. thanks ... kk

Distance from datum to main gear may (will) vary due mostly to shock absorber being somewhat compressed. Best to block the gear in the full down position, then measure that distance. Remember to do all measurements with the ship in level position. Weights at known accurate distances will produce accurate results.
