(USA) airspace descriptions of state boundaries now available
Files are available for individual states, or the entire country:
http://www.justsoar.com/public/ http://www.justsoar.com/public/sua/USA.sua http://www.justsoar.com/public/openair/USA.txt They are not of much use for most pilots except for adding to the SeeYou display, but a few like to have state boundary data displayed by their PDA, and scorers with an international boundary nearby may find them handy. Note that the WinPilot/OpenAir(tm) format doesn't have a "boundary" type like Newport-Peace, so I picked "Q". So every state is now a Danger area ~ted/2NO |

(USA) airspace descriptions of state boundaries now available
Hi Ted,
That is so cool! I had created an outline for Minnesota years ago and I find it quite useful. Now I can open borders for all the states in SeeYou by just opening the USA.txt OpenAir file in SeeYou. Very nice! Thank you very much! Paul Remde "Tuno" wrote in message ... Paul,
For SeeYou I recommend using the .sua file. It treats sua's TYPE=BOUNDARY data as "Other" in its airspace list, so you can specify its own color and line width. If you use the .txt version, it will plot the same as Danger, and if you have Danger in your other airspace file(s) you won't be able to turn it off without turning off your state borders. ~ted/2NO |

(USA) airspace descriptions of state boundaries now available
Hi Ted,
I had tried unsuccessfully to use the .sua file for the entire USA. However, upon further investigation I found that after checking the "Other" airspace type in the Tools/Airspace window I could then see the state outlines. It is working great for me now with the .sua file. Thanks! Paul Remde "Tuno" wrote in message ... Paul, For SeeYou I recommend using the .sua file.
