rudder pedal springs
a fellow kind of remembered there was an alternative to springs between the
firewall and each rudder pedal for keeping tension on the rudder cables. Thought something about 2 pullies... anybody know about this? Thanks, Dick |

He remembered some concern over the pullies needing to be mounted loosely
enough to accommodate a pedal being pushed forward without having the cable come out of the sheave... I can't get my head around a good way to accomplish this? Dan If you are discussing springs from the rudder horn to the tail wheel horn I find that the compression type available from ASS and elsewhere are ideal. Just attach them snug with a light chain. |
