External antenna for air band handheld radio

I want to install an external airband antenna hooked up to a handheld
radio to talk to airplanes.
It would possibly be a whip antenna but I don't know what type and
where to buy it the US.
Any recomendations?

There many international radio regulations, which Poland obeys, that
limit 2-way communications to licensed pilots and air traffic
controllers.

If you are asking about listening, most aviation communication takes
place between 118 and 136 MHz, and most of it uses simple amplitude
modulation.

A good simple antenna for a ground station would be a "J Pole" like
the one described on this site:

His formulas use English length measurements, which you can convert to
metric by recalling that 1 inch = 25.4 mm and 1 foot = 12 inches.
