Longer scarfs required for Keifer and backing blocks, as dictated by AC43.13 are not to be used, as they impart a "stiff spot" in the wing. Please buy a copy of the translation of Workshop Practices, join VSA, and absorb the knowledge that is available through this group (VSA). Steve Leonard
