Default Liberty Girl in Korea

Maurice Kirk flew his L-4 Piper Cub, Liberty Girl , on another of
those awesome flights, 11 hours from Taiwan to an island off the south
coast of Korea, then next day up to Yang Yang airport near Seoul. The
Korean press & TV were overjoyed (photos at www.kirkflyingvet.com).

Maurice has some law problems at home (he generally has problems with
the law, and has another website devoted to that subject) so may leave
Liberty Girl in Korea for a time.

Another problem: the Koreans tell him that to bypass North Korea
without being shot down, he must fly 200 miles out to sea.

By my reckoning, he has pushed that Cub over 3,600 nautical miles
since leaving Darwin in April. That's on top of the 14,000 nautical
miles from London to Sydney four years ago.
