Default 32 knot rate of climb in Greece

One of the members of the ASW-24 Newsgroup, Jannis Dimas, provided a
trace of a wave flight he did in 1999 with his ASW-24E. The trace
shows tremendous wave conditions including one climb of about 2 1/2
minutes which averaged about 20 knots and peaked at about 32 knots.
The links to have a look at this spectacular flight are at

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ASW-24...-24%20Flights/

and at

http://www.cromemco.gr/gliding/Deuts...ave_990418.htm

(in German).

The German site states that the wind speed on that day at 5,000 ft and
higher was more than 150 km/hr.
