Default Looking for old record

Hi! I'm looking for the name of an artist who recorded, sometime in
the fifties or the early sixties, a record with exactly the tracks
below in the given order. I am interested in buying the record or if
you have any ideas I wish your hints on what the name of the
artist/group may be. I am only interested in this specific record.

(1) Somebody stole my gal

Somebody stole my gal,
Somebody stole my pal,
Somebody came and took her away,
She didn't even say that she was leaving,
The kisses I love so,
The kisses now I know...
Oh, gee, I know that she,
If she should see
Poor broken-hearted me...
I'm just a lonesome pal,
Somebody stole my gal!

(2) The moonlight and you (?)

The moonlight and you ... in my eyes

Just give me your true night... the dreams will come true

.... the stars above ...

and we'll make love...

(3) Do you ever think of me (?)

When love into my dreams
was creeping,
I gave my heart into
your keeping,
It brought the harvest
I am reaping
And I always wonder now.
When you have another's
arms about you,
Do you ever think of me?
When you whisper,
"I can't live without you'"
Do you ever think of me?
And when your eyes disguise
the same old loving lies,
You tell so tenderly,
Deep in your heart unfeeling,
When some heart you're stealing,
do you ever think of me?
When you have another's
arms about you,
Do you ever think of me?
When you whisper,
"I can't live without you'"
Do you ever think of me?
And when your eyes disguise
the same old loving lies,
You tell so tenderly,
Deep in your heart unfeeling,
When some heart you're stealing,
do you ever think of me?
do you ever think of me?

(4) Linger awhile

The stars shine above you, yet linger awhile
They whisper I love you, so linger awhile.
And when you have gone away, each hour will seem a day.
I've something to tell you, so linger awhile.

(5) Ka-ka-ka-katy! K-K-K-Katy!

Ka-ka-ka-katy, beautiful Katy
Your the only gir-gir-gir-girl that I adore
When the moo-moo-moon shines over the cow shed
I'll be waitin' at the ki-ki-ki-kitchen door.

(5) Ja-da

Ja-da. Ja-da. Ja-da, Ja-da, jing, jing, jing.
Ja-da. Ja-da. Ja-da. Ja-da, jing, jing, jing.
That's a funny little bit of melody
It's so soothing and appealing to me.
It goes Ja-da. Ja-da. Ja-da, Ja-da, jing, jing, jing.
Ja-da. Ja-da. Ja-da, Ja-da, jing, jing, jing.

(6) Don't sit under the apple tree

Don't sit under the apple tree
with anyone else but me
anyone else but me
anyone else but me
no no no
don't sit under the apple tree
with anyone else but me
'til I come marching home
don't go walking down lovers lane
with anyone else but me
anyone else but me
anyone else but me
no no no
don't go walking down lovers lane
with anyone else but me
'til I come marching home
I just got word from a guy who heard
from the guy next door to me
the girl he met just loved to pet
and fits you to a "T"
so don't sit under the apple tree
with anyone else but me
'til I come marching home
don't give out with those lips of yours
to anyone else but me
anyone else but me
anyone else but me
no no no
watch the girls on the foreign shores
you'll have to report to me
when you come marching home
you're on your own
when there is no phone and I can't keep tab on you
be fair to me I'll garuantee
this is one thing that I'll do
I won't sit under the apple tree
with anyone else but you
'til you come marching home
don't sit under the apple tree
with anyone else but me
I know the apple tree
is reserved for you and me
and I'll be true
'til you come marching home

(7) Nancy (someone whistles)

Oh! Nancy

.... appaling to your ears

and little Nancy idly

(8) key to paradise (?)

It happened... without thinking twice

I left her and threw away the key to paradise

sweetheart

A long time ago

.... somebody's ...

that I'm afraid

without being ... twice

.... sweetheart ...

.... to paradise ...

(1) When you wore a tulip (Face B)

When you wore a tulip,
A sweet yellow tulip,
And I wore a big red rose,
When you caressed me,
'twas then Heaven blessed me,
What a blessing, no one knows,
You made life cheery,
When you called me dearie,
'Twas down where the blue grass grows,
Your lips were sweeter than julep,
When you wore that tulip,
And I wore a big red rose.

Percy Wenrich (m) - Jack Mahoney (w)

(2) Oh! Caterina (Face B)

Oh! Catarina! Oh! Catarina!

I love you, much! ... pilina

Unless you ... lina!

You're such a ...

When I got

(3) Springtime In The Rockies (Face B)

(Woolsey-Saver)

When it's springtime in the Rockies
I am coming back to you
Little sweetheart of the mountains
With your bonny eyes of blue
Once again I'll say I love you
While the birds sing all the day
When it's springtime in the Rockies
In the Rockies, far away
(repeat twice)

(4) WeMary (Face B) (First part sung in English – then some italian
Tarantella music – then sung in Italian)

We-Mary We-Mary

If my heart ... is yours can't you see

I'm glad about you

For I love to believe you I doubt(?) you

We-Mary We-Mary

I can't sit through the ... without you

.... then ... for me ... we-Mary We-Mary

(5) Volare oh! oh! (Face B)

Volare, oh oh
Cantare, oh oh oh oh
Nel blu di pinto di blu
Felice di stare lassu
We can sing in the glow of a star that I know of
Where lovers enjoy peace of mind
Let us leave the confusion and all desillusion behind
Just like bird of a feather, a rainbow together we'll find

Volare, oh oh
Cantare, oh oh oh oh
Nel blu di pinto di blu
Felice di stare lassu

Volare, oh oh
Cantare, oh oh oh oh
Nel blu di pinto di blu
Felice di stare lassu

We can sing in the glow of a star that I know of
Where lovers enjoy peace of mind
Let us leave the confusion and all desillusion behind
Just like bird of a feather, a rainbow together we'll find

Volare, oh oh
Cantare, oh oh oh oh
Nel blu di pinto di blu
Felice di stare lassu

Your love has given me wings
Your love has given me wings

(6) I'm sitting on top of the world (Face B)

I'm sitting on top of the world

Just rolling along, just rolling along

I'm quitting the blues of the world

Just singing a song, Just singing a song

Glory, hallelujah, I just phoned the parson

"Hey, Par, get ready to call!"

Just like humpty dumpty, I'm going to fall

(7) San Francisco (Face B)

San Francisco, open your golden gate
You'll let no stranger wait outside your door
San Francisco, here is your wanderin' one
Saying I'll wander no more.

Other places only make me love you best
Tell me you're the heart of all the golden west
San Francisco, I'm coming home again
I'm coming home again to no roaming no more...

(8) Purple dream (Face B)

"Deep Purple" By Turner Layton
When the deep purple falls
Over sleepy garden walls
And the stars begin to flicker in the sky
Through the mist of a memory
You'll wander back to me
Breathing my name with a sigh
In the still of the night
Once again I hold you tight
Though you're gone
Your love lives on when moonlight beams
And as long as my heart will beat
Lovers will always meet
Here in my deep purple dream

(9) Smile for me, my Diane (Face B)

I'm in heaven when I see you smile
Smile for me, my Diane
And though ev'rything's dark all the while
I can see you, Diane

You have lighted the road leading home
Pray for me when you can
But no matter wherever I roam
Smile for me, my Diane

I'm in heaven when I see you smile
Smile for me, my Diane
And though ev'rything's dark all the while
I can see you, Diane

You have lighted the road leading home
Pray for me when you can
But no matter wherever I roam
Smile for me, my Diane

Surly a contender for the most off topic subject of the month
along with the political fanatics and the submarine and tank nuts.
