Inconol 713 required

Sorry Martin, I've got a confession to make, I actually put this
question on for my father-in-law who is the one actually building the
engine as a retirement project. He doesn't have a computer so I
searched the internet for him but couldn't find anything. Then I said
to him that I would try an appropriate Google group and get back to
him if I got any replies. It seemed easier to pose the question as if
it was my project than to explain the actual situation. I think I
persuaded him, though, of the usefulness of having access to the
internet because he is planning to buy his own computer and go online
himself in the not too distant future.


Good Luck! My very mechanical engineer (retired) got a computer, and now,
I'm his technical support number! All in all, I don't mind it, but some
days, after the 5th or so call, it starts to get old!

"Press the Control key. It's in the lower left corner of the
keyboard. It says 'C T R L' on it. Now keep holding it down, and tap
the C key. Let up on the C key. Now let up on the Control key. Now
use the mouse and move the arrow where you want the text to go. Once
the arrow is there, stop moving the mouse....."

Now, can you tell me which one is the "any" key? As in "hit any key". My
keyboard doesn't have a key that says 'A N Y'.

Just use your elbo and bang it down on the keyboard, it will always find the
"ANY" key.

If however that happens to fail, try using your head instead.

A close work friend swears that he really got that question in a class he
taught years ago. His answer: "It's that big wide one on the bottom between
the "Alt" keys."

intended the control key to live. (Who needs a Caps-Lock key for
frequent use, anyway?)

Nope -- it is spelled out in full -- 'C o n t r o l'.

Not the way my system works. The Right button picks up the text,
the Middle button drops it (It would be left and middle, but I have set
my system up for left-handed mouse operation. :-)

Of course -- my system isn't a Microsoft one, for which I am
very thankful. :-)
