Default OK, all you limeys: 4 beautiful chromium-plated valve covers for Continental O-200

These are not dinged up. Will trade for 4 Rolls Royce O-200 valve covers in
similar condition. Just for the hell of it.

I hope that they are not chrome-plated on the inside, as the chrome
there will flake off and get routed through the engine via the oil.

Hey, it's been done before!


No doubt, Orval. That crazy British vet who restores cars and motorcycles
on the tube (and built a Europa) had a series on restoring an old Harley
knucklehead. If memory serves he showed the plating company chroming the
visible sides of the parts only by coating the other sides with wax before
the electroplating began.

BTW, the Rolls-Royce valve covers was a passing fancy, now abandoned. It
would be a little like the canard of, well, putting Millenium valve covers
on Continental cylinders. (inside joke)

Well, I just put Continental valve covers on my 6 new ECI Titan
cylinders.
