Default volkslogger problem

Sunday my volkslogger locked up twice. The screen goes blank and the
warning tone stays on constantly. After an hour I managed to reach
over my shoulder and disconnect the battery, then plug it back in. It
then powered back up but of course the data is all screwed up. SeeYou
was not very happy either. Ideas?

Thanks,
Brian

I don't think so. Very good battery, fully charged, good connectors
and everything else worked great. Right now I'm thinking it was heat/
sun, but not sure. I haven't been able to find anything about it in
the manual.

If your VL is older, the internal battery might need replacement -
it's the one that makes the memory non-volatile. The manual says
they're good for 10 yrs.

If it's newer, I'd guess a wiring problem, where a connection pulls
apart slightly during turbulence.

When my VL wouldn't upload/download, I sent it to Richard at
Craggyaero, who had it fixed... I have no financial interest in
Craggy.

Dan
