Default Flying in So-Cal and Albuquerque area

Hi,

IŽm from Brazil. IŽll be on short trip to USA in Apr. IŽll spend few
days in So-Cal (San Diego) area and a few more in Albuquerque. There is
gliding activity in these areas at that time? If so..where?

Thanks

Hi Wladimir,

The SSA (the national soaring association in the US) has a great
interactive map on their website showing all affiliated clubs and
commercial operations:

http://www.ssa.org/sport/wheretofly.asp

Near Albuquerque at the airport in Moriarty we have Sundance - the
commercial operation mentioned above - as well as the Albuquerque
Soaring Club (http://www.abqsoaring.org). Sundance operates year round
every day, our club is active on weekends. Contact Rick Kohler at
Sundance for more info or drop me a line if you need more info about
the club and activities.

Markus
