Default Purchasing New Plane

I am in search of a plane to purchse for my husband. He is getting his
pilots lisence within the next few months and I would like to give him
a gift. Just a little something to keep him in the air as much as
posible. I looked at a Piper Saratoga and it looks very nice, but I
know nothing about them. Is it a good plane to start with or should I
look for something less elaborate? Anyone willing to give a girl some
advice would be greatly appreciated. Looking in the Harrisburg or
Pittsburgh area. Thanks ever so much -Cheers

Hmmmm... sorry, I didn't mean any insult but I just sorta figured your post
was... well.. a joke. Hardly anybody buys a Piper Saratoga for their first
plane after just getting their private pilot license (John Kennedy Jr. excepted).

And very few people with a UK address would be shopping for one in Pennsylvania.

However, the IP she posted from, 209.119.51.126, is in Mechanicsburg PA.

Didn't mean to cause such a rukus over a simple question - I have the
means and fortitude, just asked for a little assistance. Guess my best
bet is, as we are living in the US for the next 3 years in Harrisburg,
is to find a someone locally who is willing to give "good" advice.
