There's no reason you'd get a black border unless you wanted it, nor would you be restricted to 1024x768 for any reason other than perhaps your own personal reasons, or lack of a video card capable of higher resolutions. Bottom line: as far as MSFS goes, you can use any resolution supported by your video card and monitor combination. Pete |
