Curious and curiouser.

I can't work out how any time in an aircraft can be classed as
unnecessary...

george, hint coming. MarkTroll isn't spending any time in any

Certainly! I bet $1,000 that you will not post the CFI and the
training school you are not attending.

I didn't say "time in an aircraft". I said "instruction".
The real gravy for CFIs is GROUND SCHOOL. No
fuel expenditure, no wear and tear on the plane, no
risk. Yesterday while out of town, I stopped into an
FBO and saw a former instructor of mine at his hanger
with a young student. He had the kid washing his plane.
Poor kid was probably paying by the hour to do it too.

That's not enough money Mr. Rich man. I'm just
a poor student, but why don't we up the ante.
You seem to know all about me. You say I don't
have a dime to spend. Poor, poor me. Shall we
find a reputable legal firm to establish this little
escrow account? I will transfer $100,000.00
today. Will you match me?

Stop being childish and act like a man.
Stand behind your words or admit that
you're just another internet goofball.

Now, talk about piloting. If you can.

Also, I have attorneys standing by to complete
our arrangement of truth validation. This could
be your lucky day.

Someone that really had $100,000 laying around and attorneys (note plural)
on standby for betting purposes wouldn't be whinning about the cost of
flight instruction.

It happens.
I enjoyed the 'poor pilot' claim whereupon he later claims to have
$100,000 to throw around.
I doubt he actually read what he writes
