Default take off & landing of plane

hi,
I need some information about the take off & landing of a passanger
plane.is there any particular distance upto which a plane has to
travell before moving towards direction of its destination. Or before
landing do these planes come to a certain distance from where they
heads towards runway.how they manage this air traffic.

landing do these planes come to a certain distance from where they
heads towards runway.how they manage this air traffic.

I would disrespectfully suggest you work on yours as the meaning is
quite clear. And his English is undoubtedly better than your Tamil.

Bertie, I sort of understood the OP's query, even better after reading
your reply but Jay's request was perfectly reasonable, as well. On my
first reading I didn't really get it, either. I had to re-read it and
then your reply helped.
He was also being "civil," not unkind, in my opinion.

I had as soon as the first post was made.

Jay obviously wantred him to revise his question so as he could answer with
directions to his notell motel inserted.
