Default Trainer built in Florida?

Hi all in US-glider land!

I am just curious: what happened to the rebirth of the Polish Kr-03
trainer, which was supposed to be built by a company in Florida?
With the Euro growing stronger and stronger against the US$ and the
aging fleet of 2-33, I thought there would be a good market for this
US built trainer.
Any info?

Unconfirmed and un-attributed. I heard at the convention that the
current problem is that the aluminum (type/thickness/whatever)
specified in the TC is not available domestically and that
substitutions are like getting a new TC.
