Default Piper 6.00x6 Nose Wheel and Fork?

I need some help with Piper part numbers. I'm looking for the
Piper Part numbers of the 6.00x6 nose wheel fork used on the
"heavier" Cherokees, Comanchees, etc.

Jay Honeck and Don Tuite sent reprints of the PA28 manual
pages which show only the 5.00x5 wheel and hardware. Thanks guys.

I have seen Tripacers, Cherokees, Cherokee Sixes, and Comanchees on the
ramp which have a 6.00x6 nose wheel. I would like to get a photo copy of
the parts manual page on any of these aircraft which shows both the
illustration, and the part numbers of the Fork, the wheel axle, spacers,
buckets, and fasteners used on the fork itself.

Does anyone know if Piper supplied the 6.00x6 nose wheel as an
option for PA28s?

Thanks in advance,

Fixed gear PA28 & PA32 Cherokees came standard with 6.00 X 6 on all three
gear. The only Cherokee to use the 5.00 X 5 on the nose was the retractable
Arrows.

The PA-28-151 and PA-28-161 manuals I got from Jay show only 5.00x5 nose
wheels. There is no mention of 6.00x6 nose gear.

Was it the older PA-28s that used the 6.00x6 nose gear?

My pa-28-140 certainly does (same size as the mains).

Mike:

I've got a PA-28-180 and it's got the 6.00x6 on all 3 wheels.
Books at the hangar, I'll get them tomorrow and get the
info for you

I have already received parts manual pages showing the 6.00x6 wheel.

One more thing would be useful; is the chromed shaft above
the fork 1.5" dia or 2"?

Thanks
