Default Rubber stamp???

I need one of those rubber stamps that say 'I certify that this aircraft has
been inspected in accordance with------".

They used to be advertised all over a few years ago, now I can't find one
anywhere.

Can someone give me a lead?

Thanks

Paul

Viking
Quil
Staples
Office Max
Office Depot
All can get custom rubber stamps made for you. Or if you have a contact at
your local bank they can hook you up also.
Google "custom rubber stamp"

My mechanic has the computer print the magic words on a self adhesive
label (sticker, whatever you want to call it) and sticks it to the page
in the logbook... Probably they will loosen up and fall out in 20
years, but I likely won't care by then...

Interesting point about the labels falling out. I wonder if anyone
researches the adhesive on the labels they're applying.

I've got every entry for my plane going back to 1966. I'd hate to have
stickers start falling out.

My IA hand writes the whole paragraph. Maybe I'll buy him a rubber stamp
next Christmas.

Get a (clear) sticky label and put that over the ones curling up and falling
out - when the time comes.

Then, years later, get an even bigger (clear) sticky label....

Default Rubber stamp???

The only time I ever give an A&P my books is for annual. If he needs
the books he can call me and I'll bring them but I just got tired of
paying for a guy to spend an hour reading the logs before changing a
tire. After work I ask for a sticker and take it home and put it in the
book myself. My log books are full of paperclipped stuff all over the
plane (since before I bought the plane). I have to hold the books very
carefully to prevent stuff from falling out.

I keep telling myself I should make up stickers for student 90 day solo
renewals. Everytime I copy endorsements from AD61-65D my hand hurts.

.... watch out for the sneeze that will devalue your plane by 20% then.
