From OLC rules:
"1.3.2 Scoring period
The last day for flights to be scored in the current year is always the fourth Monday in September. The next day is the start of the scoring period for the following year."

Have you checked 2016? 6 flights in the US, 13 in Canada.

You'd think so... but apparently the OLC folks think otherwise. I only cut-and-paste what they post.

This is the rule from their web site.

1.3.2 Scoring period
The last day for flights to be scored in the current year is always the fourth Monday in September. The next day is the start of the scoring period for the following year.

So, it looks like the program is written to create a start of year date (4th Tuesday of September) and the rule is written to define an end of year date (4th Monday of September). Because, everyone knows the 4th Tuesday of a month is the day after the 4th Monday of a month, right? :-)

Accept it as what it is and lets keep flying!
