Quaker Avionics - Quakertown, PA(just SE of Allentown)
Aerodynamics Aviation - Reading, PA
Lancaster Avionics - Lancaster, PA
3 Crown Avionics - Sussex, NJ

Don't have their numbers handy, but should be easy enough to look up.
The $80/hr quote from Caldwell is quite high. All the above have done
my work for $50-$60/hour.

Looking for an avionics shop in NJ or eastern PA. I want to get an
IFR moving map GPS installed in my Archer. Don't have the budget for
a GNS-430 or CNX-80 so I'm thinking either a KLN-89B or the Garmin
GPS-155XL. Any other thoughts in that price range? I'm hoping to
keep the entire bill under $4k. Any experiences with Penn Avionics at
Perkiomen?

Thanks,

Ken

I will second the Quaker Avionics recommendation. Had them install my Garmin
430. Quality job and right on with an estimate $2000 cheaper than any place
in CT (I'm based in Long Island). Not one squawk on an audio panel/IFR
GPS/Clock/Comm overhaul job.

Here's their number: 215-538-2177

Good luck,

Marco
