Default # 711 reporting USA

Just checked the 18 Meter USA Nationals and more folks have been
signing up. Great place to Soar and they put on a wonderful show of
support for us. Anybody find a site for the 15 Meter Nationals in
Uvalde to see who's coming? Heard and seen the insurance bill for one
towplane, $7995.00. Yep, and that's US dollars. Thank God its not
Euro's. Last I spoke with Karol, the regionals in Ely still have room.
Big Sky, Big lift, landout spots small. Good mix. Just remember blue
sage, get high, stay high. As the summer wears on, remember the SW
Soaring contest, put on by ASA, in Sept. Also, Region 12 will be 5
straight days running this year. New Castle, get on the list, as time
grows closer, it will be full. Some asked about Perry, SC I have been
a guess of the Tyler's, and we flew on Wednesday and 1 weekend day.
Used auto tows by Mr. Wes Tyler. He's does them well. Haven't heard
much about Region 9 in Hobbs. But before you drive and try, give a call
to the SAA office, as I have sent in emails asking about how many folks
and towplanes they got. Good news is theirs still plenty of time. Last
time I drove thur Hobbs, alot of new signs, pointing out where the
casino and race track are, with mileage. I thought that's nice, cause
the old airport is just a short hop away, making it much easier to
find. The new ASG 29 is selling fine, good news is more ships will be
going up for sale, as the 29 starts coming in towards the end of the
year, or early next. Thermal tight, Soar high, Fly safe, # 711
reporting.
