Default Sage cva vario manual?

Does anyone know if there is anyplace online this manual can be
downloaded?

I currently have this vario hooked to a Total Energy probe connection.

I would like to know if this vario will still funtion properly if
connected to a
static port on the TE probe instead.

I would like to use my Total Energy connection to run to my 302, it
currently is
ran off of my Static port on my fuselage and I think it would be
better if this was
ran off of Total Energy since the 302 is my main vario and the Sage is
my backup.

Thanks for any help,
Joe Simmers

Default Sage cva vario manual?

Hello Joe,
The Sage webpage is undergoing some changes and will soon be up an
operating under the new ownership and hosted at Williams Soaring
Center.

Please call or email me directly and I can help with your installation
questions.

The short answer is that you will have no TE compensation for the Sage
if you connect to the static ports unless you can find a good Sage
modle B box.
Few of these are in operation but many pilots swear that they are as
good as any probe.

My advice is to use the electronic compensation of the 302 and the TE
probe to the Sage. Many pilots listen to the 302 and watch the Sage.
Do not think of the Sage as a back up. The Sage is your primary source
for the latest information.
