What practical purpose would that arrangement serve? The Misteln,
IIRC, were only sparingly used in the end to attack bridges, the
fighter setting loose an unpiloted explosive-laden Ju-88 conversion
towards the target.

I also barely remember some form of mass Misteln attack planned for
the beginning of 1945 intended to attack Allied airfields, but that
attack was cancelled by bad weather.
