The MSC web page (http://mindensoaringclub.com) is now hosting posts
from veteran meteorologist Doug Armstrong. Enter the Forum, (Forum
Weather) and click on the weather section to read his posts on weather
throughout the season.

Doug started his meteorology career as a weather forecaster with the US
Air Force. In 1962, he joined the National Weather Service, and in 1969
he moved to Reno. He is the co-author of Mountain Meteorology for the
1978 book "Soar Sierra".

Doug was introduced to soaring meteorology in 1969 and has provided
support for wave camps in Chateauroux, France, and Benalla, Australia.

In 1986 he assisted Bob Harris to achieve his altitude record, as well
as Mike Koerner in his distance record. More recently, he has assisted
Gordon Boettger in achieving his record North American flights.

Follow his posts, participate by writing feedback on them, and join the
club of those that Doug has made world-record holders.

Enjoy!

What are the odds of getting it as an RSS feed so that I don't have to
visit that site every day, in addition to the dozen or so I already try
to visit daily?

Thanks,

Jeremy
