Default FAA funding and uswer fees....

For those interested, these are the numbers:

Airport and Airway Trust Fund Receipts
Updated on March 3, 2006

(All dollars in MILLIONS, for Fiscal Years, based on Treasury Income
Statements)

Transportation of persons* $ 7,061
Transportation of property 461
Use of International Air Facilities** 1,922
Aviation Fuel - Commercial 354
Aviation Fuel Other Than Gas (non-commercial) 573
Aviation Gasoline (non-commercial) 44
Total Tax Receipts $10,415

10 Billion dollars give or take is what the federal government blows
on FAA and Air Traffic Control. Its a black hole folks....

The real cost of technology is less today than it was 10 years ago.
Now they want to add user fees so they can waste even more of your
hard earned money. What a joke.
