Default medical certificate and alcohol (private pilot)

Fine. Let's hope he isn't one
for the sake of the good people of Goleta
and Santa Barbara, who would prefer not to
have pieces of burning aircraft wreckage
raining down on us while we enjoy our
afternoon tea.

In any case, again...you should probably actually read the original post.
He never even said he was an alcoholic. He simply said that, in spite of
not having had any alcohol-related problems, he had a goal of leading a
completely alcohol-free lifestyle and felt that a two-week alcohol treatment
program was a way of accomplishing that goal.

He may or may not have been an alcoholic, but regardless he has been
alcohol-free for three years. You are certainly one of the last people I
would consider qualified to judge whether he has worked out his alcohol
issue, whatever issue that may have been. (Note that I am one of those last
people as well)

Riding a bicycle is a right not a privilege.

BTW - I am a bicyclist, that often commutes to work by bike.

When guns and GA planes are outlawed, politicians will still fly and have
