Or terrorist bombs? Casady Hostile ordnance would be pilot error. Terrorist bombs would be equipment failure. |

B-52 crashes after takeoff from Guam

Week's ARES blog reports that the last crash of a B-52 was in 1994; that accident was blamed on pilot error. 'pilot error' is too soft a term for what happened in 1994, 'pilot insanity' is probably more appropriate for that incident, which was no reflection on the actual safety of the plane. If IIRC that stupid asshole, put a serious roll moment ending in a bank attempt near 75 degrees, totally uncoordinated and slipped the B52 into the ground in a few seconds, apparently showing off....Evel Kinevel in a B52...a sickening event. B-52 crashes after takeoff from Guam
Latest update as of 20 minutes ago (as per Yahoo) has the report that
three crew members have died and that three more are still missing. The good news is that search and sea conditions in the area are apparently good if anyone is alive out there. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080722/...W0WAVVcjxH2ocA http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080722/ap_on_re_us/ b52_crash;_ylt=App8_Af5UQZI9mW0WAVVcjxH2ocA http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080722/...W0WAVVcjxH2ocA David |

Have yet to hear of what might be a cause. |
